Description
: Decorative, ornate and finely detailed repoussé pedestal vase/urn with flared collar featuring varied repeated scenes of old Dutch village life, framed and bordered by elaborate floral motifs with flowers, swirling leafs and pineapple type patterns. Each of the the four vertical panels has four separate scenes of old Dutch villages life (in two sets with each set repeated on the other side). A narrow floral motif column separates each panel. A Barbour Silver Company hallmark on bottom shows a Dutch windmill set between two pipes (facing left and right) over the number “3328”. Circa 1892-1898. Item may or may not have had a lid originally.
