  • Condition: Silver plate centerpiece or epergne. The frosted glass is free of chips, cracks or discoloration. The gold trim is almost entirely intact. The silver plate is in good condition as shown in the 24 pictures. The base is weighted and slightly out of round as shown in picture number 19. There are no monograms or visible repairs. Please look at them before submitting an offer.

    Description

    We offer 4 methods of shipping for the epergne. We always combine shipping and apply the discount. If you purchase more than one item then we will send an invoice for the shipping costs. This listing is for a Victorian epergne in a Greek Key design and frosted glass. The glass upper bowl has a scalloped rim which is trimmed in the gilt/gold and is free of chips or cracks and the glass is free of staining. The Greek Key design is carried over to the silver plate rim of the base and the upper holder for the epergne at the top. The epergne is well made and sturdy and can be broken down into 3 sections, the horn and holder, the plate and the base or stand. It stands about 18 inches tall and the glass bowl or plate measures about 10 inches across. There are no makers marks to determine the maker or give an accurate date of production but it could be under the green felt on the base.Please scroll down to view all the pictures.
