TWINKLES THE ELEPHANT CEREAL CARTOON EPISODES COLOR BW 16mm DVD KING LEONARDO. Condition is New.
Here is something never offered before.  25 original episodes of the Twinkles cartoon episodes, that were offered as part of the King Leonardo Show, and Rocky and His Friends.
They are roughly 1 minute adventure episodes of Twinkles, the magic flying elephant, Sanford the Parrot, Wilbur the Monkey, Fulton the Camel, and some of their other friends.
Usually, someone would get into a dangerous situation, and Twinkles would use his trunk, or rotor tail, to get them out.
Twinkles was a General Mills cereal in the early sixties, and was handled by the team of Buck Biggers, Chet Stover, and Tread Covington, the Total TV Animation that mastered Saturday morning cartoons from the early to mid sixties, and brought us King Leonardo, Tennessee Tuxedo, Underdog, The Go Go Gophers, Klondike Kat.
According to Mark Arnold's Book, "Total Television Productions... The Story of Underdog, Tennessee Tuxedo And The Rest";  Twinkles was most likely animated at TV Spots, a small studio in Los Angeles (the same studio that animated Linus the Lionhearted).
If you are a friend of Saturday mornings and great animation from the 1960's... I highly recommend this book, as a reference guide, and a fun and nostalgic read.

25 episodes of Twinkles in colour, and black and white...

Climbing Shoes, Desert Rescue, Kite, Houseboat, Picnic, Little Boy, Swimming Pool, Parade, Carnival, Train Robber, Roller Skates, Rodeo, Airplane, Ameteur Show, Haunted House, Honey Bees, Horse Show, Sailboat, Trip to China, Big Fan, Fishing Trip...  and some are repeated in both color and black and white.
I have also included 2 complete episodes of "King Leonardo and His Short Subjects", and one episode of Rocky and His Friends... all with all of the original commercials for General Mills cereals and other products, all transferred directly from 16mm.
This is a real DOCUMENTARY of Saturday Mornings as we remember them.
