LOS ANGELES COUNTY FAIR -- NIGHT HORSE SHOW PROGRAM 1927
The show was held in Pomona, September 24-27, 1927.
50 pp., a few ills. in the many local ads.
Lists the entries in dozens of classes across all disciplines that are not often seen in one competition any longer.
Hunters, roadsters, light and heavy harness, three- and five-gaited saddle horses (including pairs), four-in-hand draft horses, light and heavy stock horses, runabout horses, pony tandems, gig horses, etc.
Revel English was scheduled to exhibit Edna May’s King.
With indexes of horses, exhibitors (including Cecilia Hoyt De Mille), and owners.
Some owners came from as far away as Seattle, British Columbia, Iowa, and Illinois.
Condition: covers are smudged from handling.
Old creasing down middle.
Pencil marks and results for a few classes; light handling soil.
Overall nice and clean, except that part of the last page is torn away.
The last class (Five-Gaited Stake) is missing, but from other information in the program the you can determine the details of the class and who were the entries (only two).
