LONE RANGER TONTO ORIGINAL 1957 LINEN BACKED DOOR POSTER SET OF 2 GENERAL MILLS

You are purchasing a pair of vintage, original 1957 door posters of The Lone Ranger and Tonto. These posters were created in '57 and were originally acquired by sending box tops to General Mills. These posters are french style linen backed, which means they have been mounted on linen with no extra restoration. After linen backing posters were then trimmed back to their original size. Posters measure 25.25" wide x 74.75" high and look outstanding! Posters are and were in very good condition prior to linen backing with some handling wear. Both posters have tack holes in corners and some small tears around edges, some mild fold wear, a few small spots of mild soiling throughout, and some ~6-8" vertical tears on bottom edges. Lone Ranger also has a similar size tear on top edge. Linen backing has laid the posters flat and reconnected the tears. Folds are as issued. See photos for a better look! Images are in great shape. Colors are bright and unfaded. These pieces display great and would look outstanding framed and matted. Also included is the original envelope the posters were shipped in back in the 50s which measures 13" x 11" and is in very good condition with some wrinkling and creasing throughout.
