HUGE Meriden Britannia Floor Vase Heart Scarab Egyptian Revival Silver trumpet

A rare and hard to find Antique large centerpiece vase. It is a large Banquet, centerpiece vase with rare Scarab. It is signed with the oldest Meriden B mark on the back edge of of the vase. The mark date this piece to sometime between 1860's and the 1890's (when the name was changed). It is a VERY large piece measuring 19 3/4" tall x 7" across. The "heart Scarab" on the front of the piece is a very detailed 3 dimensional figure. The Scarab symbolizes the rebirth, the restoration of Life. It is also known as a good luck symbol. This piece is an early piece. There are some scratches and some minor dents the only one that detracts is the one around the narrow section towards the bottom (I am guessing that a ribbon with wire has been tied to this for quite some time.
