1997 E450 7.3 Diesel 4x4 RV Conversion
I purchased rig in September of 2020.
She is a beast and is amazing!
I’ve enjoyed my time traveling in the ambulance, but I am now headed a different direction with my travels.
At 211,865 miles, this Diesel engine is just getting broken in and with proper maintenance should last for a long time.
The mileage will increase as driven prior to sale.
MPG is between 11-14 mpg depending on weight/driving conditions/speed/terrain
This ambulance was professionally converted.
Since my purchase, I have completed the following repairs/additions:
Fixed the vehicle AC
Replaced the rear brakes
Replaced the left rear brake caliper
Webasto Heater serviced
Replaced the Dash bulbs
Changed the Air Filters/oil filter/fuel filter/and Oil as needed (every 4000-5000 miles)
Replaced Front Transfer Case seal
Rear platform addition (removable to convert to original motorcycle carrier)
Hooks added for optional hammock sleeping
2 different trusted diesel mechanics (with ambulance specific experience) have gone over her and all recommend repairs completed.

Only known issues:
1 chip in windshield right above the rear view mirror and the RV water pump is taking longer to engage than it used to.  The water pump still works, which is why I haven’t changed it, but a new one is included in the sale.
