    Description

    Here is an original circa 1930 License Clerk Poster by Delehanty Institute New York City.  This great 1930 or 1931 advertising poster says class now forming for License Clerk salary 1920 to 1500 per annum.  It states that The position would be within the Department of taxation and finance, bureau of Motor vehicles and that the duties of the position would include supervising the issuance of license to operators and chauffeurs and certificates of registration of motor vehicles keeping records revising applications examining and approving applications for driving licenses and motor car registrations.  This poster measures approximately 14 in tall by 8 and 1/2 in wide and is completely legible however it does show very light signs of age and normal wear and tear so please see all photos for exact condition and content and feel free to message me with any questions you may have.  This would be a great addition to frame and put in any bar room restaurant or other publicly visible area or business.  Thank you.
